What .ae is

The .ae extension is the domain of the United Arab Emirates, run by the national body aeDA. On the local market it is the default: government and commercial sites use it as a matter of course.

Registration is open, though the registry may ask for proof of activity in the country, particularly for names matching company names. The maximum registration term is five years.

Registry rules for .ae

Who can register	A local trade licence may be requested.

Transfer lock	Sixty days after registration or after a change of registrant, a rule set by the registry
